Bird Walk

Indian Mary County Park

Friday, October 13 - 8 a.m to 11 a.m.

Siskiyou Audubon Society will resume taking monthly bird walks in Josephine County. Carpooling and sharing fuel expenses are encouraged. Prepare for the weather, wear sturdy shoes and expect to walk on most trips. Bring your own binoculars. Please, no dogs. Walks will be limited to 15 participants, so please register by the day before with trip leader Fran Taylor, who can be reached at 541-955-2934 or by email at

Meet at Ray’s Food Place in Merlin at 8 a.m. to carpool to the park, or meet in the park picnic area at 8:30. There is a $5 per car day-use fee unless you have a Josephine County Parks sticker. We’ll walk in the park and at the boat ramp on the Rogue River, and look for fall migrants and waterfowl.
