Do you know the names of the birds you see in your yard? Come learn them at this Siskiyou Audubon Society meeting. Susan Bush and Fran Taylor will discuss how to identify birds using a field guide, while showing slides and giving descriptions of the common birds of our region. From the ground birds like Oregon Junco and Spotted Towhee to the aerial acrobats like Tree Swallows, the birds we often see are the focus of the talk. Susan Bush and Fran Taylor are long-time members of Siskiyou Audubon Society and amateur naturalists who have gained familiarity with the local birds by frequent and regular bird-watching.
