DESCRIPTION:The Audubon Christmas Bird Count is the nation’s longest-running community science bird project! Since 1900\, it has taken place every year during the period from December 14 to January 5. This will be Siskiyou Audubon Society’s 43rd count! \nThis year SAS’s count will take place on December 14. Margaret James has volunteered once again to be the Compiler. \nCheck the national Audubon website for more information about the history and logistics of the count! \nJosephine County’s bird Count Circle has 11 sections. If you want to count\, you can count all day or any part of the day. If your home falls within the Circle\, you can count at home. But\, be sure to let Margaret know so she can advise the leader of the section in which you are located.
