Chapter Meeting–Program: “Birds of Egypt” by John Taylor

The meeting will begin with bird talk, socializing and a free door prize will be raffled. Past door prizes have included bird related books, bird seed, bird houses and bird feeders! Society business and announcements will precede the main program.

John & (the late) Joy Taylor took a birding trip to Egypt in 2008, where they traveled up and down the Nile. In this program, John will share his photos from the trip. As they sailed along, they photographed birds from the upper deck of their boat. In front of the Cairo Museum (one of Pepper Trail’s favorite places) John photographed the Pallid Swift and the Hoopoe. Near Abu Simbel they saw a Steppe Eagle.
